Riding Camps

Day camps have been part of the stable for many years. Horse care, lessons, and fun are the main focus of the day. Campers are assigned a horse or pony that is appropriate to their level of experience and their age and size. They learn the daily requirements of care for their charge.
Participants take part in all aspects of the training of horses by mimicking the steps with a school horse or pony.  By leading, lunging, ground driving, driving and riding, the campers get a good idea of what went in to making a riding or driving horse a good partner in the human world.
